I was fortunate to accompany Gloucestershire aid worker Hazel Hendry on one of her journeys to Eastern Croatia in 1998. Hazel spent many years during the war in the former Yugoslavia taking much needed aid to people in Croatia - in Osijek, Vukovar and Slavonski Brod amongst other places.
